1. What is BKINDNESS and how does it work for users?

BKINDNESS is a gamified reward platform that connects users with local businesses through daily treasure hunts. Users explore their city, open digital chests using their phones, and unlock real-world offers, discounts, experiences, and raffle entries from participating brands and stores.

2. What kind of rewards or offers can I find inside the app?

You can find a wide variety of rewards including: - Discounts on food, fashion, wellness, and services - Free items or samples - Exclusive brand experiences - Raffle entries for big prizes (weekly or brand-based)

3. What are “chests” and how do they work?

Chests are digital containers scattered across your city on a real-time map. When you physically reach the chest location, you can tap to open it and reveal a reward or promotion inside, which is often time-limited or tied to a specific store.

4. How does BKINDNESS recommend which promotions I see?

The system uses geolocation, your activity level, reward preferences, and Kindness Level to tailor promotions that are: - Close to your current location - Relevant to your interests - Aligned with your user behavior on the app

5. Can I use BKINDNESS in multiple cities or countries?

Yes. BKINDNESS works in all supported cities and countries. As the platform expands, more locations will become available. When you travel, the app automatically adapts to the new region and displays the available local promotions.

6. What happens after I open a chest?

After opening a chest: - You’ll instantly receive a reward, discount, or raffle entry. - The offer is saved to your “Reward Wallet.” - You can then visit the business (online or in person) to redeem it before it expires.

7. How do I increase my “Kindness Level”?

Your Kindness Level increases as you: - Open more chests - Redeem rewards - Share the app or participate in community quests - Leave feedback for businesses A higher level unlocks better offers, early access to promotions, and exclusive features.

8. Can I share or transfer rewards with friends?

Currently, most rewards are non-transferable. However, in future updates, we plan to introduce reward sharing and gifting features to increase community engagement.

📊 Data, Privacy & Security

1. What kind of data does BKINDNESS collect from users?

We collect essential user data such as: - Geolocation (only when app is in use) - In-app behavior (e.g. offers claimed, chests opened) - Device type and language We do NOT collect sensitive personal data unless explicitly required and consented to (e.g., for reward delivery).

2. How is business data protected?

All business data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only authorized team members with dashboard access can view campaign metrics, store info, or user interactions related to their campaigns.

3. Who owns the customer data?

Businesses never receive personal customer data directly unless users opt-in (e.g., by signing up to a loyalty program). BKINDNESS acts as the data controller and ensures that all usage complies with applicable data protection laws.

4. Can users delete their data?

Yes. Users can request deletion of their account and all associated data via the app’s privacy settings. Data will be permanently erased from our servers within 30 days.

5. Is user location tracked at all times?

No. We only request location access when users are actively using the app. Users have full control to enable or disable geolocation permissions.

6. Are campaigns or raffles stored securely?

Yes. All campaign data (e.g., number of entries, winners, redemption logs) is stored on secure servers and backed by our internal verification system to ensure transparency and prevent manipulation.

7. Is the app GDPR and data privacy compliant?

Yes. We are committed to full compliance with GDPR, the Philippine Data Privacy Act, and other regional data regulations. Our terms of service and privacy policy clearly explain how data is handled and protected.

📱 Mobile App Experience

This section covers how users interact with the BeKindness app from the moment they install it to when they redeem rewards. We aim to make the experience gamified, rewarding, and simple.

1. Onboarding & First-Time Experience

- Users are welcomed by BKIND, our kindness balloon mascot, who guides them step-by-step through the app. - The onboarding includes a visual tutorial that highlights key actions: opening chests, claiming offers, and exploring maps. - Users are encouraged to complete their profile to unlock full functionality.

2. Discovering Nearby Rewards

- Users can explore a gamified map to discover local businesses that offer promotions, gifts, or discounts. - Chests appear based on user location and may include: - Coupons - Store credits - Free products - Raffle tickets

3. Opening Chests

- When a user opens a chest, a short animation plays (to create anticipation). - The user sees what they won (discount, bonus points, free item, etc.). - They can either: - Save it to their “Rewards Wallet” - Use it immediately in-store or online

4. Claiming and Redeeming Offers

- Once a reward is claimed, a QR code or redemption ID is generated. - Offers typically have a validity window (e.g. 72 hours) to create urgency. - Users can view terms & conditions for each reward inside the app.

5. Raffle Participation

- Every claimed reward may give 1 or more raffle points. - Businesses can organize their own raffles, viewable under a “Raffles” section. - On raffle day (e.g., Sunday), users check their lucky numbers and see if they’ve won prizes from multiple brands they’ve interacted with.

6. Store Pages

- Each participating business has a profile page users can view: - Brand story - Active promotions - Previous rewards/raffles - Store location and contact info - Users can “💖 favorite” stores for future alerts.

7. Gamification & Loyalty

- Users earn Kindness Points through interactions. - Weekly and monthly leaderboards track top users in each city. - Users can level up and unlock exclusive rewards by: - Referring friends - Completing challenges - Reviewing businesses

8. Settings & Profile

- Users manage: - Notification preferences - Language - Privacy settings - Wallet and claimed rewards - Access to support chat and tutorials is always available.

9. Security & Data

- Location is only used while the app is open. - Data is encrypted, and users can delete or export their info anytime.
